Manuel Antonio

Dann ging es weiter Richtung Sueden zu dem naechsten Badeort Manuel Antonio. Es ist ein kleines Touristenstaedtchen, da es der Ausgangspunkt zum riesigen Nationpark Manuel Antonio ist. Unser Hotel grenzte direkt daran an. Nachts sind wir von den Bruellaffen aus dem Schlaf geschreckt worden. Diese kleinen Tierchen machen so viel krach wie ausgewachsende Gorillas und ich hatte das Gefuehl, die sitzen irgendwo hinter mir auf dem Dach. Tagsueber konnten wir 2 Affenfamilien aus der Hintertuer heraus beobachten. Schon cool wildlebende Affen zu sehen. Hier sind ein paar ausrollende Wellen mit Blick auf den National Pârk zu sehen. This time we got something a bit more like what we were hoping for... Manuel Antonio is a little tourist town that is surrounded on three sides by a national park and on the other by the ocean (this time with waves). Our hotel backed onto the national park and we could actually see whole families of Howler Monkeys just by looking out the back gate (not to mention hear them!!). This is a view across the whitewater to part of the national park. |
Das Hotel hat Bodyboards zu verfuegung gestellt und so konnte wir ein bisschen in den Wellen rumtoben. Our hotel had a few body boards that you could take out. The waves weren’t so big here but it was fun enough for us. |
