Guatemaltesischer Nationalbaum, sieht von unten aus wie eine ueberdimensional grosse Spinne mit behaarten Beinen, oder? Well, this the national tree of Guatemala. And this one seemed like a pretty good specimen. I've never seen a tree that looked more like a spider. |
Das ist der Blick von einem der Tempel in Tikal. Ich denke das Foto spricht fuer sich...es ist ein bisschen wie in den Ruinen von Coba, nur das hier alle anderen Gebaeude viel groesser und restaurierter sind. Ja, ein wirklich schoenes Plaetzchen! This is the view from the top of one of the temples. I think it speaks for itself... It really is incredible to be up there above the jungle canopy and looking down at other buildings tall enough to have survived 500 odd years of jungle strangulation. |
